Dual Fuel Tank Switch Wiring. So in order to check the fuel level in the tank Im running on I have to switch tanks. I have dual tanks and im not sure what wires go. The problem I am experiencing is when I switch from the front to the back tank the gauge switches to indicate a full tank like it should but within a few miles the gauge reads empty and the front tank reads full. 800 x 600 px source.
Vin XXXXX no power to. I just bought a 92 F-150 with dual tanks. Not for systems using in-tank fuel pumps or pumps located between the tanks and valve. Each tank has its own fuel level sender but only one guage in the dash. Vehicles without fuel return lines vehicles with fuel return lines use 42-153 or 42-159 6-port selector valve. Need a wire diagram too for the switch I have discovered that two wires powers the pump to pressurize te lines and other 2 powers the fuel gauge on the dash but 2 wires i don know what they do my gauge doesnt indicate fuel in any combination of the six wires. Route fuel pump power wire ie the blue wire on the Sniper or green wire on the Terminator to the tank selection switch.
