Pressure Switch Stuck Open On Goodman Furnace. If the inducer comes on the pressure switch is stuck closed. A disconnected or damaged pressure switch hose. Fixing this usually proves to be easy and inexpensive. So go ahead and put the hose back on put the access panel back on the furnace turn up the thermostat to its highest setting.

If the switch is open the inducer starts and the resulting pressure change closes the switch. The only way now for me to have heat is manual remove tube before start the unit and after its on a little bit plug it back on the inducer. An HVAC tech came over did a few measurements and found that the pressure switch right above the burner is not getting voltage so he opened up the circuit board unplugplug back the two wires connecting the switch and the board and then the furnace is back on until a couple of days ago same problem occurred.
